Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of Post Frame Network, including its builder directory, project-planning resources, forms, and communications. By using the site, you agree to these terms.
PFN's role
Post Frame Network, or PFN, is an independent directory and research site. PFN does not perform construction, employ listed builders, represent either party to a construction contract, or guarantee that a builder is available or suitable for a project. PFN is not an architect, engineer, contractor, code official, attorney, lender, insurer, or real-estate professional. Site content is general information and is not professional advice for a specific property or project.
Builder profiles and Verified status
Unless a builder profile is marked Verified, PFN may have assembled it from public business information or information submitted for inclusion. The business has not completed PFN's verification process and may not have confirmed its service areas, project fit, contact details, credentials, availability, pricing, or other profile information.
Published, Unclaimed, Claimed, Featured, or paid placement does not by itself mean that a profile is Verified. A Verified badge means only that PFN completed the verification process described in its directory methodology and status definitions. It is not an endorsement, license or insurance check, background check, warranty of workmanship, or guarantee of future performance or project fit.
To report inaccurate profile information, email rick@postframe.network. An authorized business representative may also claim a listing.
Your responsibility when choosing a builder
Directory profiles, ratings, project categories, service areas, planner matches, and search order are starting points for independent research, not hiring recommendations or guarantees. Before hiring a builder, confirm the business's identity, current service area, relevant experience, references, insurance, licensing where applicable, written scope, exclusions, payment terms, change-order process, warranties, and responsibility for permits and inspections. You are responsible for evaluating and entering any agreement with a builder. PFN is not a party to that agreement.
Quotes, leads, and builder introductions
PFN may transmit information that a user chooses to submit to a builder, but PFN does not control whether a builder responds, accepts a project, or provides accurate pricing or timing. A quote request or introduction does not create a contract with PFN. Project details and contact information are shared with builders only through the consent shown in the relevant form or planning flow.
Submitted information
When you submit a correction, claim, profile update, project request, image, or other material, you represent that the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you have the right to provide it. You give PFN permission to use, format, review, and publish submitted material as needed to operate the directory and requested service. PFN may reject, edit, unpublish, or remove material that is inaccurate, unlawful, misleading, duplicative, or inappropriate for the site.
Featured listings and commercial relationships
PFN may offer paid placement or other commercial services to builders. Paid or priority placement must be identified where it appears and does not change a profile's factual fields or constitute PFN's endorsement of the business. Verification remains a separate status.
Acceptable use and site content
You may use PFN for lawful personal and business research. You may not interfere with the site, attempt unauthorized access, submit false or harmful information, impersonate another person or business, use the site to violate another party's rights, or bulk-copy and resell PFN content or directory data. Normal search-engine indexing and sharing links to PFN pages are permitted.
PFN's original text, design, branding, and site software are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Business names, logos, photos, reviews, and linked material may belong to their respective owners.
Third-party information and links
PFN may display or link to third-party websites, ratings, maps, products, financing resources, government information, or other material. PFN does not control third-party content, availability, privacy practices, or transactions. Review the third party's current terms and information before relying on it.
Availability, disclaimers, and liability
PFN provides the site and its content on an “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, PFN disclaims implied warranties and does not promise that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, complete, or current. PFN is not responsible for construction work, property damage, personal injury, financial loss, disputes, or other outcomes arising from a user's decision to contact, hire, or work with a listed business.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PFN will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the site. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Changes and contact
PFN may update these terms as the site changes. The effective date at the top of this page shows the current version. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
