Builder profile sources

Unclaimed profiles are assembled from public business information, which can include the company's website, public map/business listings, and post-frame industry directories. PFN records the company name, location, public contact details, website, rating snapshot, and publicly described work when available. Public data can be incomplete or stale, so every unclaimed profile is labeled and links to a correction or claim path.

Status definitions

Published

The profile is visible in PFN's directory. This is not an endorsement.

Unclaimed

No approved business representative controls the profile.

Claimed

PFN approved a claim from a person representing the business.

Verified

A separate PFN designation shown only when PFN has completed its stated verification process. It is not a warranty of workmanship or future performance.

Location, service area, and project categories

A company's home state is where the public business profile is based. “Serving” can also include states the business lists as service areas. Those are different counts and PFN labels them separately. For unclaimed profiles, project categories describe work found in the company's public information; they do not prove that every project type is currently offered. Claimed businesses can confirm or correct those fields.

Ratings and ranking

When displayed, a rating is a third-party snapshot rather than a PFN review score. Buyers should follow the linked business source for the current rating and underlying reviews. Directory examples may be ordered by public review count or another disclosed field. Payment never changes a factual field; any sponsored or priority placement must be labeled.

Research and price statements

PFN prioritizes statutes, state agencies, federal agencies, and recognized industry organizations. Commercial examples can illustrate a price or scope but are identified as examples and never silently converted into a national average. PFN checks arithmetic against the stated building size, separates shell and finished scope, and gives the date or context needed to interpret a figure.

Corrections and refreshes

Send the page URL, disputed field or statement, and supporting evidence to rick@postframe.network. PFN reviews material corrections and updates the page date when its substance changes. Business owners can claim a profile to propose ongoing updates.
